I came to this Web site to see if
I could find something about my great-grandfather, James Patrick Roche.
He was a mariner and was married to my great-grandmother, Winifred Davies,
on May 6th, 1872, in St. Mary's Church, Kirkdale, in the Parish of Walton-on-the-Hill,
in the County of Lancaster. James' father's name was Patrick. Winifred
migrated to the USA in the late 1800's, and I knew her when I was a
boy. But, what ever happened to James? If you have any ideas as to where
I might look, I would appreciate it. Richard Turley <turleyri@mstar2.net>
I was there during WWII, in 1945,
and engaged to marry Celia Bernard. I am trying to find her, she was
16 at the time, and had an older brother that was in the English Army.I
came back to Texas where my family still lives, and was married. My
wife of 52 years died last year.My memories are of wanting to come back
to Liverpool, and Celia in 1945, and still think of it.Looking for a
girl that has probably changed her last name due to marriage is not
an easy task, please help me look for her.She lived at 28 Wyndal, Liverpool,
in 1945. Any help will be appriciated very much. Cecil Keck, 311 Grayson
