I would love
to hear from any old friends from my dark &distant past.I was born
in Burlington St.in 1946 and went to Our Lady,s Eldon St from 1951-1959
and then to S.F.X.Grammar.Friends included Ronnie Dougherty(Mile End)George
Baker,Tony Sweeney,Monica & Marie O,Toole,Valerie Bird and anyone
else who knocked around Bond St.Also old pals from S.F.X.Sid Jarrett,Tony
Darracott, John Crosby,Joe Cowell,Jackie Richardson and anyone else
who knew me.In 1961/2 we moved to Sparrow Hall,and I stayed there until
I married Pauline Booth(Peter Rd,Walton}We have been in Skelmersdale

Geoff...Saw your post on the 'Old
Pals Board'. Interesting to me as I worked for StarWays Ltd at that
time, in fact, I helped prepare their Dc3 for that ill fated ride. I
know that Richard Whittingdon-Egan wrote a chapter in one of his books
(Liverpool Oddities) "Death in the Afternoon". As far as I
remember his body fell in a corn field near Hunts Cross. Cannot believe

I am trying to find out something
about my great grandparents who, I believe, were scousers. My grandparents
were Mary Shaw, nee Lees and Henry Shaw, although he appears on my mother`s
birth certificate as Henry Fletcher Shaw. But I think it was my great
grandfather who was Henry Fletcher Shaw. He was a carver and gilder.
Mary Lees` father was Matthew and he was a coachman. Her mother was
Hannah. I have no further knowledge of them and would welcome hearing
from anyone with information or sources. I`ve tried the 1881 census
