Looking for ancestors of Joseph Halewood, born around 12/1888 in either Liverpool or Preston. My dad had 3 sisters, that I know of.... Lillian, Gladys, Ethel. I assume, from stories I heard as a young child, he came to America when he was in his 20's. He died when I was 12 and my mother, who died in 1972, knew very little of his background. I do not have any ancestor names to start with. Any help will be greatly appreciated.Bette Pollard <betct@webtv.net>

John Lennon 9/10/40 - 8/12/80 Can it be twenty years since you left? The sadness still lingers at the way you were taken from us. I didn't have all your records, didn't know all the words to your songs but I only know that something was taken from all of us on that cold Manhattan sidewalk. There have been millions of words written and said about you and against you by people who didn't know you You were no angel...but you were not the devil many now say you were, You were always: "John" I will add a few more words of my own to show we haven't forgotten "Thanks for the words and music pal.....rock in peace" Dave Dave Power <daveyblue2000@yahoo.com.au>
