Geoff/Eric, regarding that bloke that
tried to "fly", he did indeed land in a corn field near Hunts
Cross. It was not far from the old Table Top Bridge just off the pathway.
Made a hole a couple of feet down. I was at the Airshow when it happened
and wanted to go see what happened but my Mum wouldn't let me, but I
went after with some of my mates. Not much to see but a hole in the
ground. I seem to remember that the bus sheds where built approx. where

I am trying to trace an old school
friend - James Robert GRANT. We both left Daisy Street County Primary
School, Kirkdale, in July 1959. He then went to Lambeth Road Secondary
Modern School. He lived at 83 Lambeth Road, and he had a brother, Peter
Cameron GRANT. Both brothers hadn't been at Daisy Street for long, having
